Candy never had a DUI. People who are in denial about their drinking problems become very angry about the topic of driving under the influence.  A DUI and the ones that follow if they don't stop drinking are often the wake-up calls that they don't want to hear. This ridiculous story is just an attempt to discredit Candy and MADD.
