  2. No, they're not Persians. They're actually directly related to Poles and their DNA seems to be centered on the southern Poland region that used to be called Galicia when it was under the control of the empire of Austria-Hungary...which also ruled Croatia at the time.

  3. Croatians, as has been pointed out, are Slavs. They migrated to Europe from Central Asia, so I suppose this is where "Iran" comes from. It's not true that Slavs come from modern day Iran however.
