  1. Highgrove was their marital home. I beleive they had an apartment at Kensington Palace as a base in London.

  2. Both Diana and Charles lived at Buckingham Palace along with the Queen and Prince Philip for a short period of time before they moved to Kensington Palace, which is a royal residence set in Kensington Gardens in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in London, England.

In 1981, Kengsington Palace's apartments 8 and 9 were combined to create the London residence of the newly-married Prince and Princess of Wales, Charles and Diana, and it remained the official residence of Diana, Princess of Wales after her divorce until her death. Her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, went to local nursery and pre-preparatory schools in Notting Hill, which is a short drive away.

The royal couple moved into Highgrove in the autumn of 1981, it is the country home of HRH The Prince of Wales, in Gloucestershire, England and continues to be today. Highgrove House is a private estate owned by the British royal family, and it is not one of the Queen's official residences.

Other private estates that belongs to the British royal family are Balmoral Castle in Scotland and Sandringham House in England. The Queen and other members of the Royal Family regularly spend Christmas at Sandringham and make it their official base until February each year. It is also an excellent location for hunting and is used for royal shooting parties.

Balmoral Castle is a large estate house situated in the area of Aberdeenshire, Scotland known as Royal Deeside, and it is a favourite summer retreat for the Queen and the royals. Diana spent a few summers there and of course, only by invitation since it is the Queen's summer home.

  4. I would assume England (dont know the city)

  5. ................In the palace???

  6. Thanks for all of the extra useless information, Rachelle, which has nothing to do with the question. What's the source that you copied and pasted from?

  7. They had a country house called HIGHGROVE in Gloucestershire. While they waited for their new homes to be remodeled, they stayed in BUCKINGHAM PALACE,in London.

Their other home was a grand apartment at KENSINGTON PALACE in London. They could also stay as guests at any of the Queen's abodes.Charles particulary liked Balmoral,in Scotland.Sandringham and Windsor were other palaces that the two stayed at for family visits.
