Where did Glinda (The Good in Wicked) get the flying bubble from?

Before I get attacked by all the die hard Wicked fans I just wanted to say I've never seen Wicked Live. Just listened to the Original Cast Recording and dozens of videos on youtube. I was just wondering how Glinda got the bubble. I mean I know she uses it as her means of transportation. But ever since I've seen the "catfight" scene between Glinda and Elphaba where Glinda talks about the Wizard taking credit for the bubble I've been confused. Hopefully someone can clear this up for me. Thanks :)

Between the end of the first act and the beginning of the second act about two years have passed. In that time we learn that Glinda became Glinda the Good and now travels around in a bubble, which is then connected to the original Wizard of Oz movie. Elphaba says the Wizard probably took credit for it because she had found out he was only planning to use her magic for his own benefits, for the flying monkeys were to be spies. He takes things that aren't his, and most likely either made or took credit for the invention of her bubble.

What everyone said! Word of advice: see the show, its "Wonderful"! If you live on the West coast you can see it in LA at the Pantages. They have a special 20% discount you can use online. Take that on some mezzanine seats and the price is under forty dollars per person. I can't testify to any production but LA (except perhaps Stuttgart, which I have the CD of ;) and I say that we have a great LA cast! Thats the Stuttgart cast and they are good. Especially their leads. I am proud to say that in LA we have the best Wizard! But I give credit where its due and Willemijn Verkaik is the best CURRENT Elphie. She's the same quality as Idina's best performances.

The Wizard is a mechanical genius, and he was totally capable of constructing a bubble for Glinda.

The wizard made it. He invented "The Wizard" so he didn't seem as ordinary he clearly made the bubble too.
