  2. Depending on where you live look for the ALLIANCE FRANCAISE, they offer a whole series of French lessons given by native speakers for all ages.

    Put an ad on craigslist.org in your town and find a french speaker who will exchange for english conversations

  3. Any university or junior college. They all have credited French courses that are available for anyone that wishes to learn French. The classes are very good too, and before you know it you will be speaking français très bien !!

    I would look up language training in the yellow pages, or you could try the net.  I know there are many good home study plans available.  Berlitz school of language is a great one.  After you learn the fundamentals and feel confidence, then you must visit somewhere where French is spoken as the working language, e.g. Quebec city, Rural France (Paris is not great because it is too cosmopolitan).  Some Caribbean island also speak French (Haiti for example).  I'll give you your first lesson.
