My Cat is, as I speak, leaning on a Lamp post, upright, with a Gene Vincent Jacket on, smoking and sneeringly insulting innocent people as they walk by. In a strong Cockney accent too.

You could always give the fellow the option of either doing what he is doing or you could at least give him a chair to sit on so that his business is more comfortable as he sneers and jowls at passersby,,, plus dear fellow dont forget the ashtray.......

You obviously have not set a good example. We all know that youngsters copy their elders. A cockney accent is not cool. I would try speaking with a different accent in his presence. It may not be too late.
