He wins one and all of a sudden has more fans than Kyle Busch (Which might not be a lot but still :)

  1. Well except for the Joey Logano Fan aka Pizza who was posting here for awhile...I didn't see any. Now WHAM!  Maybe they are just happy that a real rookie in the Nationwide series won instead of a Cup series driver. Suddenly Joey Logano is the best thing since sliced cheese.

  2. There are some rude people on that other question. I suppose they did not think he would accomplish this much in three races, and I bet they are hiding out tonight.

This guy is 18 years old and I can not believe that so many people have already formed strong negative opinions of him after his 3rd time in the Nationwide series.

People like that are probably not very well liked among others since they are so quick to pass judgement.

  3. Canada

  4. I'm a Dale Jr fan but am pretty objective. In the truest sense of the word, I am a fan of all drivers in stockcar racing. I just like some more than others. I, like others, have been watching this kid since he ran Bandoleros and recognized his talent. I don't care what stable he's from. He is a force to be reckoned with. Why can't someone appreciate a driver for his/her talent without the onslaught of criticism, personal attacks, and bashing? Nice to hide behind an avatar and screen name and talk smack I guess. It's just guttless and ignorant.

  5. I asked the question recently is Joey the new Kyle Busch, and it seems that he is. Both have a great future ahead. Kyle will be champion this year, Joey will get there also one day.

    JOE GIBBS RACING RULES

  6. I like others love a winner. Joey is a winner and will be one of the most popular drivers in the future.

He's not full of himself  as some one said. He has the adittude  a winner has to have. The way i've taught everyone in my family that races to be . You have to think your going to win every race you enter. And if you dont your disipointed. That's the way I judge a driver's ability, how much desire does he have.

Here are some of my favorite drivers that had this same desire,A.J. Foyt, Dale Earnhardt, Jeff Gordon,Tony Stewart, and I class Kyle Bush along with Joey , with this groupe. They are the sucessful ones, there are many others that had this same quality but never had a chance to show it.

They are thought of as being cocky , smart a##, or full of himself, but they are winners.

  7. I'm pretty sure they came from people following his story from like a year ago.  He was spotlighted in a bunch of magazines when he first signed with JGR when he was like 16 or 17.  People who have followed the story, like me, were just waiting for this day to happen.  The kids only 18 and has 2 poles and now 1 win under his belt.

  8. JGR

  9. I'm not a Logano fan.  It's refreshing to see a new face in victory lane, especially a Nationwide regular instead of a Cup racer.  How could you not be happy for him, his Dad just got one of the best Father's Day gift he could have a son give.

What you're experiencing here is good folks making good comments instead of the same old bashing and hating.  Try it, you may just like it.

  10. They are JGR fans, and theres bandwagoners as well... I'm not a fan of Sliced Bread at all..

    Go Dale Jr & Hms

  11. They came from the JGR fanbase.

  12. i wasn't online three days ago, but i was a few weeks ago and answered similar questions back then saying i was a fan. i'm guessing at least some of the same people who like kyle busch and jgr are automatically going to take a liking to the guy. and you're going to get a little of the "jr vs. busch/hms vs. jgr" crowd that's going to pull either for keselowski or logano based upon their cup leanings.

i did - not only when i heard mark martin proclaim him the "real deal" but also when he became a jgr development driver.  i liked him even more when he beat harvick last year at the "east meets west" nascar camping world series race, and after his peformance at the arca race at rockingham.

of course, all will be considered bandwagoners except for his mom, dad, and sister, and so be it. let fans be fans... at least they are paying attention.

  13. He's still a little too plain jane for my liking.

It takes something more than just knocking down wins for me to be their fan. There has to be a "spark" that just makes me sit up and take notice, sometimes it's on the track, sometimes it's something they say or do in an interview, something about their personality, just depends with me. Hasn't happened with Joey.

To those who choose to be his fans, I say more power to them, it'll be them that 5 years from now can say they've been his fan since day 1.

*For the sake of JGR, let's hope*

  14. The only thing I have done is congratulate him on his first win on another question. I'm not a fan oof him.

  15. now that he has won people are going to start saying he's their favorite driver.

  16. Where did all of his fans come from?

They just graduated high school with him!

  17. Even need to ask?

    Bandwagoners.  All of ya.

  18. they are all bandwagoners who may have had another previous favorite driver who hasn't won much lately. Come on Kyle Busch, teach Logano what we know you know best!

  19. He's a new face and the next big thing and a winner on top of that. People want to be associated with the winner, so they jump on the bandwagon as soon as it comes by. Don't get me wrong, I think the kid is very talented and I am happy for him and his accomplishments, but I am NOT a Logano fan. In the interviews I have seen him give he comes across as very full of himself. I took an instant disliking to him when he gave his post-race interview following his first Nationwide race a couple of weeks ago. He came in in 6th place in his first-ever race against these Nationwide regulars and Sprint Cup guys and was disappointed because that was not very good for him. WHAT??? Sure, it's not a win, but it was your FIRST RACE, jacka**! Get over yourself!!! I think his attitude and immaturity will fit right in with those other two jacka**es at JGR when Smoke leaves at the end of the year.

  20. They are the ones who jump on a race winner's bandwagon. Don't get me wrong, he's a rookie, he's young he has potential. I wish him the best.

I have to refer to the question the other day about cup drivers running in the Busch/Nationwide series....I love it when one of the regular drivers win instead of a cup driver. That's what the series is for.

Personally, I'm a fan of Brad Keselowski. He has that desire to do good and win. It didn't just start when he won last week either.

A lot of people go with a winner. Wait until Logano hits a dry spell n see what happens.

Peace n Smiles  :~o)   Good luck to everyone's driver today!

  21. JGR its easy

but Joey will get his own fans, as he is already doing, he will make it, and prove he is a good driver, just needs time, he is cockey but polite, tough but can be rough in driving.

he will be good, just give him time.....

GO #88 JR all the way

  22. Joey Logano is THE BEST!!!

    WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

    YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

OK, now that is out of my system, I feel better.

the guy is good, but he is still learning. Not to Shabby though!!

  23. I don't know if I am a fan or not. It's too early to tell what his attitude or personality will be like. But, I was cheering for him pretty loudly though last night. 18 year old kid going for his first win at that level. Aghhh, just wanted to see him win, and was happy for him and his family, especially his dad who couldn't have been more proud. Neat moment for any NASCAR fan to witness. You don't have to be the boy's fan to appreciate what just happened.

  24. same place as you bandwagons
