Where did ancestors from El Salvador migrate from?

Well when Cortez left Spain to find new land for them to migrate they  founded South America,but when they arrived they found people who already conquered the area.These people were the Incans and supposedly most of the Aztecs were still living to,but sickness got to the natives and wiped them out.Then soon after that happened the Spanish colonists happened to spread across all around South America then up towards Central America and towards what today is now called Mexico and the people have lived all across these boundaries ever since Cortez set foot there.Except for Brazil they were Portugese and they migrated from Portugal which borders Spain.
