  1. In tombs. Some, but not all, were buried in Pyamids. A lot of them were buried in "The Vally of the Kings".

  2. pyramids

  3. In the pyramids

  4. They put the mummies in coffins after this really gross process of sucking out there insides called embalming. They put there insides into jars and put them in the pyramid along with the coffin. They put huge ammounts of food, money, furniture etc. in with them for when they go into the next life. They also put coins over their eyes so they could pay the guy in the under world that rowed them over the water to the next life. They had very creepy death ideas.

  5. The first ones were buried in pits. Then later mastabas, that are kind of like an above ground ornate tomb made of rock. Then finally pyramids of various sizes.

  6. In the pyramids.

The dead body of the Pharaoh was kept in the pyramid after sucking up the brain. You must know that the property of pyramid is to dehydrate whatever that is kept within it. So, it prevents the dead body from the ravages of time, at least to an extent.
