Where did haiti get there uniforms and supply's from during the slave revolt?

Toussaint joined the Spainish army in the other half of the island, and so did many of his troops.  So I guess, they got them initially from Spain, then from local Haitian tailors and dressmakers once the revolt was fully underway.
