Where did my Windows Background and Screensaver Tabs go?

A friend of mine house sat over the weekend for me. Said something funky came up on the screen (no doubt probably looking at p**n!) and it changed my properties dialog box and the option or tabs for Background and Screensaver are no longer there. I've tried getting them back several ways but am at a loss. Any ideas? Thanks!!! Peace

  1. it's cause of spyware program,, anyway,,

    start> run > regedit

    then

    -In the registry navigate to:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\W...

    -delete entries 'NoDispBackgroundPage' and/or 'NoDispScrSavPage'
