  1. china originally but the italians took up on making it. i guess the italians perfected it and now its one of their famous, most know dishes. besides, when one thinks of pizza, they usually assume its from italy.

  2. Little Italy in NYC

  3. I've heard China, but everyone gives credit to the Italians

  4. china. marco polo liked the chinese green onion pancake and that's how pizza came to be.

  5. I always thought it was New York.

  6. LOLZ! You are all wrong!

Pizza is from Italy- but Marco Polo brought Pasta back from china!

    Phoenix ftw!!!!!

  7. the original pizza came from Naples, although there are many versions of flat bread with toppings. The two original pizza's are the margharetta , named after a queen that visited Naples and the pizza marinara, which is simple tomato and oregano but named marinara as the sailors ate it.

I think your getting confused with pasta that some say Chrisopher Columbus found in China and bought back to Italy, but depending on which version of events you believe this can be true or not. Most say that the arabs introduced it to Sicily and that CC was in China after the first evidence of pasta making has been found in Sicily. Hope that helps with the arguement
