Where did the Olympic Ceremony originate?

Not the one that just happened, but the first one because I am doing a project and am looking for websites. I can't find any. If you could just copy and paste the website it would help heaps.

The first recorded Olympic games was held in 776BC and the last of the ancient games was in 393AD.  They were restarted in 1896.

If you google First or Ancient Olympics you will get lots of sites providing information.

If your referring to the opening ceremony, the first games with an elaborate opening ceremony in the modern Olympics was I think Berlin in 1936 they also started the torch relay.
