Snakeheads get their name from their appearance, some people used to believe these fish were monsters, snakes that mutated and were able to swim and live in water, but what also made these people believe this, was the fact that the creatures could actually come out of the water and survive without the water...

    I think they look a bit like snakes crossed with pikes...
