Question:

Where did the "if you invite someone out, then you pay" rule come from?

Sorry if I sound stupid, but the only time I've heard of this rule is around females. If a guy invites other guys out, everyone chips in for the bill and usually leave the bartender a great tip.

So what do girls do when they're out with other girls? Make the girl who invited pay?

  1. pay if you ask a woman out on a date, if your buddy doesnt have the cash and you want him to go...payment should be clear before anyone goes out or both parties will be upset.

  2. well when I go out with my gfs some times I pay sometimes we split it. Its just a common courtesy of dating that men pay the first few dates. I believe women should offer after the first few.

  3. I suspect feminists invented this rule as they know it is almost always guys doing the asking/inviting...

  4. A guy does this for a girl he likes and would like to date, If the guy and girl are friends they could take turns or split the bill, If its two chicks they pay seprate.
