Where did the word Ameen' originate from?

Because jews say Amen, we muslims say Ameen ( double E ) so basically whats the origin?

  1. If you search the Qur'an for the word "ameen" (aameen) you will not find it except within the word "aaameena" in the Transliteration of the Holy Qur'an.  It is not in any other translation of the Qur'an.

    The hadiths are man made and the Qur'an is complete in its wisdom and teaching and warns us of having used idolatry without even realizing it.  The noun of amen which is used the same as ameen is the name of the Egyptian god amen-ra also associated with amoon.  Just on that strength, and just on the fact that amen and ameen are used as interjections in the regular dictionary to follow up prayer but the noun is the Egyptian, pagan god, I will not use it.  Allah knows all that we do not and is the seer of the unseen.
