Where did these flies come from?

I keep a clean house.. but suddenly there are flies everywhere! Black large house flies... anyone know how to get rid of them? Or know where they came from? Thanks.

check your garbage can under the bag.  Sometimes the bag will leak 'fluid' and flies will get into the bottom of the can an lay maggots there.  Otherwise, check all your windows to see if there is a tear in the screen or if the caulking holding the window in has a gap.

I suggest using a fly paper strip wherever the flies congregate most.
