there is this kid in my french class and me and my friend are trying to figure out where he is from. i asked him where he was from but he didnt tell me but i really wanna know!

where does the last name Yenisey come from? im guessing russian maybe?

  1. Yenisey is a Russian word, and it is a river system that flows through Siberia and empties into the Arctic Ocean.  His family might come from this region.


  2. Sounds similar in style to Sarkozy; he may be French as well.

    The only other thing I would guess would be Irish.  Like Hennessy...
