  1. never heard of it... although i have heard going to h**l in a handbasket but i dunno what that means either...

  2. A  John Wayne movie?

  3. Probably from that joke about the guy who dies and goes to h**l and is given a choice between what room he wants to spend eternity in. He is shown a room with people standing in flames up to their knees, screaming. Then he is shown a room with people standing in a room full of poo up to their knees, drinking coffee. He chooses the poo room figuring it isn't as bad. Five minutes after entering the room he hears the foreman call out, "Okay everyone, coffee break is over. Everyone back to standing on your heads."

  4. I've never heard it before and cannot find any reference to it in any of my books.
