Where did you find maternity jeans?

i went to motherhood maternity and all of their jeans were to big. they were to baggy on my butt and thighs. my old jeans still fit, but are getting uncomfortable, i don't want to go a size larger because i like the tight fit, and i hate when jeans are baggy on the butt and legs.

i'm thinking about getting spandex for most my outfits, but i want the option of wearing jeans too, some shirts would look bad with spandex.

i wear junior sizes (i'm 18 years old) so i think that's why maternity jeans aren'tt fitting me, since they arewoman'ss sizes..

but i have only looked at one store, idon'tt know where else to look, does anyone have any ideas??

i'm 5'3'' and CURRENTLY weigh 120. i'm 28 weeks pregnant --- i dont know if that helps, but i thought it might if someone is about the same size as me, and has found maternity jeans that fit them..

  1. Target.

  2. the bella band makes it so  you can wear your old pants but they are bigger in the waist since you dont have to fasten them you just put the band over the top and they hold the pants up been told that you can get them at babysrus and they are also avialable on line

  3. I found a lot at Kohls, but I outgrew them quickly, I suggest just sticking to the stretchy pants or the capris. There cheeper and fit better :)

  4. old navy, and Ebay is where i got mine.Got them really cheap.

  5. Most stores that offer a range of maternity clothes will have maternity jeans. Some are designed to sit below your bump and some have a spandex section, and some are high waisted and are made to cover the bump as well.

Next has a good range of maternity clothes. My aunt got all hers there and raved about the jeans and the dungarees.

  6. I've gotten maternity jeans at Target and Sears.  The ones from Sears were the best.  They don't even look like maternity pants; they just have a small band of denim colored elastic at the top.  But I was able to wear them comfortably through the whole pregnancy.  The great part was, I could wear a lot of non-maternity shirts with them when my stomach was too big for normal pants but not big enough for maternity shirts.

  7. It depends on where you are. In Canada here there is a great maternity shop called Thyme Maternity. The best part of them is that it's all pre-pregnancy sizes and the clothes stretch out 25 to 35 lbs which is the adverage weight gain during pregnancy. And the sales people are really friendly as well and really knowledgeable.

Also the sizing starts at size XS and go all the way to XXL.

  8. well since you can still fit in your regular jeans I suggest you go get a bellaband or belly band I know they are sold at most maternity stores I think I got mine at sears and babies r us ....its like an elastic tube top that you can pull right over your regular pants and leave them un buttoned and they even help too baggy or too tight maternity clothes stay on better too...I love mine and they come in white black and cream....also try old navy for maternity clothes ....believe me some maternity clothes will be weird fitting at first but you will grow in them and even out of them *sigh* good luck ...also target had cute maternity for good prices

  9. bella bands

they are good if you can still wear your regular jeans but just cant button them

  10. A Pea in the Pod Maternity has great jeans!

  11. I was the same size as you, and I found the best jeans at Old Navy, they where so cute like regular jeans but maternity. They looked like my Abercrombie and hollister style jeans. the price isn't bad either, like $30-$40 a pair, someone gave me a pair from like a boutique, they where like $100 and not as much my "junior" like style, more for like older like women(I was 21 when I was preggo) so I never really wore them(I still feel about about that!)

  12. Well,I wore hand me down maternity clothes from my sister, but I know she got a lot of her clothes at Target.  I went to the big mall in tampa and didn't find anything, and then i went to Target, and found plenty of clothes that were made for petite girls like us!  (I'm 5'0" and 103lbs)

  13. I found a few pair of nice fitting maternity jeans at Burlington, and got quite a few pair of pants at Ross' as well. (Not sure where you're from or if those stores are out where you live.) I had a really hard time finding jeans, didn't have a single pair until my 6th month. I am 5' and 95 lbs pre-pregnancy so it was pretty hard to find pants that fit.  I had the same problem as you with them all being too big in the butt and legs. I also have to wear all my pants under the belly because I've carried so low the whole time it would hurt otherwise.  I found some really nice cotton goucho pants at target.com for like $10-12 a pair that are amazing too. Those are real nice because they're cheap and you can still wear them after the baby without feeling like you're still wearing maternity clothes.

  14. Old Navy and Ross

  15. I'm almost 39 weeks pregnant and currently 120 pounds, and I had the same problem. I ended up finding a couple pair at target. I bought some cargo type maternity pants that had an elastic waste all the way around and they still fit (I bought them when I was like 4-5 months). The jeans I bought at the same time fit up until about 34 weeks. I still wear them but have to unbutton them when I sit down. They are part elastic, part zipper/button. So you might want to find some that are elastic all the way around. I liked them though because they fit in the butt and legs nicely which other places did not. I think the brand is Liz Lange Maternity.

  16. shopko! target and kohls

  17. Old Navy, Elder Beerman's, Marshall's

  18. make your own. its so easy, and cute

  19. I love my Old Navy and Target Liz Lange Maternity Jeans.

The fit great and are not baggy on the butt.

  20. I am the same size just an inch shorter and I bought  a pair of jeans from motherhood maternity. I know it fits a little weird on the top of the butt part but once you grow it's going to get pretty tight. So for now they have to just be like that or you would have to keep buying a bigger size each month.  Tight fit isn't really for maternity because you grow all over and that's the way it is. Mine fit me on my thighs but not like my normal jeans but like I said they are maternity. I'm 28....5'2.....121 lbs....22 weeks. But they also seal there belly bands and you can wear those over your regular unbuttoned jeans and it will help hold them on while being open.  I have even gone to using and hair band and threading it through the jean hole and hooking it onto the button and that holds the jeans on but stretches when you sit down.

  21. deffinatley old navy! order online if you can...I found it hard to ever find my size in store. They are strechy and comfy with out looking completley dorky :)
