Where did you go on your eighth grade class trip?

did you guys get to pick where you go or did the teachers pick?

the teachers usually pick. they'll probably go for somewhere with a museum or zoo or something. i went to baltimore. to the aquarium.

It was always a tradition at my school to go to Washington DC with a group called 'Close Up'  the tradition was set in place before I even attended but a bunch of classes a long time ago had picked it and everyone LOVED the trip so we kept it all through the years...

We also had a tradition to go to Ashland Oregon for the shakesphere festival...that was something our teachers decided to do.

And my school was in California so going all the way up to Oregon and then all the way across the country to Washington DC (for a week) was a big thing for us!!!

we went to a campground at Catalina island for three days. Teachers pick but no one complained haha

we went to this astronomy musuem, and we saw a play of shakespear on a famous theatre in nyc

Well the orchestra went to Holiday World (we're in Indiana). Most of the grade went, even if they weren't in orchestra, so that they could ride the rides with all their friends. It was really fun :]

It's a tradition to go to Holiday World at the end of every school year. The teachers pick.

Our teacher did the picking. We went to New York City- this was back in 1990 (old, I know), so we got to stand on the WTC and everything. NYC was cool!

The teachers picked.  I live in San Antonio, so we got to go to NASA in Houston.  We had a really great time.
