Where did you have your prom?

I'm planning prom for my school(2009), & i'm just wondering about great prom locations?

Back in the day (1979)...they were always held in the school gym.  We decorated with white lights and a disco ball, lots of crape paper and confetti...it was magical.

Mine was at a Holiday Inn that sadly enough had one of the best 'club' bars in the area at the time, and we were all under 21 and knew about it.

The location isn't as important as the music, food and decorations, so If you have to settle for a less expensive venue so that you can have all that awesome stuff that matters, do that.

We had ours in the grand ballroom of a four star hotel by the beach.  It was awesome.

I had my prom at a hotel......a real nice hotel in the foothills! One thing you need to remember is this prom will have lasting memories! We paid $60.00 with drinks and figure foods.

hotels are always nice if you can keep the palace nice
