Where did you work at during high school? tell me where, how many hours/ days you worked, please. Or please recommend me some good places to work at. I want a job after school, and I get out at three, so I am looking for a part time job that does not have long hours ( like 'till 2 a.m.) or a weekend job. Feel free to add any other details that may hep me! thanks :)

  1. i worked for cvs pharmacy. it was perfect. i could work a few days a week from 4-9 or 10. they worked around my school and sports schedule. but that may have been my manager and my cvs, but it was a great place for me to work during school. plus when i got out of school i didnt go right to college and they had an awesome benefits package.

  2. Hi! I'm currently a senior and i've been working at the king kullen in my town. I started about five months ago and it's definitely what i've been looking for. I'm personally the florist, and i didn't ask for this when i applied. Actually I applied to be a cashier, which i wouldn't mind. On school nights, i work only 3 3/4 hours, since there's a rule that this is the max time students can work on weekdays. I get about 16 hours a week. I think this is a really good idea because we need  time for homework and to rest for the next day. The work is fair and i get paid 7.75 an hour, and am allowed to make my own schedule! I also play sports in every season and they totally understood that and worked around my schedule. It's great because i have money for myself and i don't have to ask my parents for little amounts when i want to go out or treat myself to a visit to the mall or a movie. You should definitely hit up the grocery stores around your area and apply. And dont get discouraged if they said they aren't hiring at the moment, that's what my job said to me at first and they called me about a month later asking for me. So go around to several places, youve got nothing to lose!

  3. i work at mcdonalds. its not an easy job like i thought it would be. but you can get as many hours as you want. i usually get 30-35 hours per pay cheque. (so every 2 weeks). it pretty much only teens that work there and kids that i know fom school. so it can always be fun. thats the main reason why i applied there. its good experience. you get %50 percent off for your food and stuff. you will have to work to midnight sometimes but its not that bad. i work in the front. you get to choose front or back (making the food). everyone said back is better but you get more greasey. its preeeetty goood. :) im 16. and im a guy.
