Where did your fiance porpose to you?

Mine porpose to me on a cruiseship.10/15/07

We were laying in bed on a lazy afternoon just talking. He paused and then simply said "marry me". I was stunned so it took me a min to give him an answer, but obviously I said yes. This was back in December. There was no ring involved.

In May we on Nantucket (island off the coast of Massachusetts) with my cousin and her husband for the weekend. After breaksfast he said he wanted to go see the beach that was back behind the house we were staying in. I agreed so we made our way down there. It was deserted and peaceful. I was looking out at the ocean (because there were seals out there and I usually don't see them at the beach!) and when I looked back he had the ring in his hand. He gave me a smirk and then asked me to (again) to marry him.

He "unofficially" proposed at work. When we were ready to make it public knowledge "official" he proposed at his parents place. He got down on both knees held both my hands and asked. That was 3 nights before our wedding.

we were in the mall at Montgomery Wards....we'd been talking about the future.  He saw a set on sale, he had enough open on his credit card and asked whether or not I wanted it....   First he had to ask nicely!

mine proposed to me at the eifel tower in paris! we went to europe to visit our friend who is the Army and was stationed there.

"Porpose"? I think you mean "propose". For my husband and I, getting married came as a mutual decision, there was no formal proposal.

We had just been out for the evening and just got back in and were talking and then he proposed to me. It may not sound that romantic written down but it was at the time. that was in march 2005 and we were married 2nd september 2006. I love being married.

My fiance made me hide in our spare room because he was hiding "christmas" presents. He said he was done so I walked out to find long stem roses leading to our bedroom. He was there on one knee and proposed. It was nice because it was just the two of us...trust me, it was very romantic.

in his room, he told me how much I meant to him and how much he loved me and got down on one knee. I just loved it. Because I feel like if we went out on a special date I might of expected it. I had no idea the way he did it and it took me totally off guard!

(FYI he proposed again properly-ring and all, 2 months later on Christmas Eve in front of my whole family after he walked from D.C. to Capitol heights, M.D. approx 20 miles in the snow to get to me when his car broke down.)

We were planning on getting married, then an "ordained by god himself" minister "married" us on a bus so we could "fornicate". That night I proposed to him in our house and 2 years later we were married.

An evening walk around the marina to look at boats.  It was a beautiful evening with a full moon. Very romantic.

Wish I could experience it again as I was so caught of guard I missed half of it!  Plus I was dressed ugly ;(

Well ummm.... I took him to the ring store to get a ring for my daughter jokingly I told him that we should look as well.  he got all into it...we picked out rings and then went out to eat...He was all flustered, we talked about it a little bit but I didn't think he was serious, so then he said let's do it.   Yeah how's that for romance....  So we went back and put the rings on layaway, so he hasn't actually gotten down on one knee yet till we get the rings out but he said as soon as we pay them off then he will have it all planned out.  I have already started on the wedding though.  7/11/09 woohooo.. and congrats to you...

mine was just in his room and sitting reading a book with questions and he asked me then on his knee. nothing too special but the moment kinda creates its own specialness about it...

It was @ a Greek restaurant in front of alot of people! It was the first time I was visiting him in his town (long distance relationship) and he took me out for a special dinner. He had the restaurant put flowers on out table, then the waitress brought out this box that had an album full of pics of us two-with little notes all over. @ the end of the album there was a note that said "will you marry me?". He then got down on his knee and asked me to marry him. And everyone clapped. =)

We were so nervous that neither of us remember what he said when he proposed =) LOL! It was really cute tho! Just remembering the look on his face is endearing. It really caught me by surprise, since we had been dating for only 3 months when he proposed. So Sweet! 2/11/06
