Where dit pizza orginate from, some real info please?

I found allot of info but everything differs.

I need some real info as to where it came from and how they made it, where the idea came from and why

  2. Pizza has an Italian name and it originated in Italy. It is an invention in culinary to provide available foods into yet another palatable adventure. But that is in Italy where pizza is individually prepared at the restaurant or home and is absolutely delicious. The mass produced varieties obtainable

    the modern take away/home delivery pizza places we are familiar with taste nothing like the real Italian presentation.

    In the early 1500's. some poor itailan mothers banded togather to come up with a new, easy-to-make, and affordable meal for their families when they got tired of making noodles everyday. Before this noodles where in every dish of every meal.

    Italy is also where the noodle originated from, but China would like to take credit for it. What happened was in the late 1300's an Italian Magistrate came to China to ask for his aligence in a little known battle against the Russians, as an offering to the Chinese Emperer, the magistrate brought crates full of gifts. Noodles, and instructions on how to make them where among these gifts, along with various treasures.

  9. People around the Mediterranean and Middle East have been eating flat bread with various toppings since neolithic times, and more then likely their knowledge of these recipes flowed between the various peoples.

    However, pizza as we would recognize it, with a tomato topping, originated in Naples, Italy around the 16th century. At the time it was common belief that the tomato, a member of the deadly nightshade family, was poisonous and many people did not eat it. However, the poor of Naples had been adding the fruit to their breads for sometime and this humble origin could be considered the forerunner of the pizza.

    Also of note, Naples was heavily influenced by Greek as well as Etruscan cultures, both of which featured foods very similar in make to the pizzas of today.
