Elephants and Rhinos are probably two of nature's mightiest animals but they're vegetarian! From my scientific knowledge, any animal needs X amount of protein to build muscle and strength if not maintain it. How do these mighty beast stay big and strong without their protein-even vegetarian protein like soya, nuts and beans are scarce in the wild!

Oh yeah- do they live in the wild or the jungle?! I always imagined the wild as golden grass and few large trees in an open plane and I always imagined the jungle as leafy and grassy with all sorts of critters-where do these animals live?

  1. Their bodies are able to process it form digesting thier food. As herbivores, they have evolved methods to best get the nutrients they need from plant food sources.

As omnivores, humans have the advantage of being able to eat d**n near everything, but also require nutrients from many different food sources in order to be healthy

  2. Different kinds of elephants live in different places, same as rhinos. EX: African eles live in savannahs but Indian elephants live in the jungle. They get proteins two ways, by eating plant material with protein, such as peanuts lol. Another way is by converting plant sugars and other stuff into protein. Herbivores' large cecum allows them to get more out of the plants they eat.
