  1. im ion 7th grade and i did that just a few days ago but it was hard so sorry good luck!

  2. I don't think its possible

  3. You have to experiment using trial and error. Place the parentheses in all possible positions and then calculate the answer for that combination.

I will work the last two for you to show you how to do this.

    Remember PEDMAS

    Parentheses

    Exponents

Division and Multiplication from left to right

Addition and Subtraction from left to right

    24 / (8 - 2) + 6 x 3 = ? (do subtraction first)

    24 / 6 + 6 x 3 (division then multiplication left to right)

    4 + 18 (finally, addition)

    22

    24 / 8 - (2 + 6) x 3 = ? (do addition first)

    24/8 - (8) x 3 (division then multiplication left to right)

    3 - 24 (finally, subtraction)

    -21

    24 / 8 - 2 + (6 x 3) = ? (do multiplication first)

    24/8 - 2 + 18 (division is next)

3 - 2 + 18 (now subtraction then addition from left to right)

    19

    24 / (8 - 2) + (6 x 3) = ? (do subtraction then multiplication)

    24 / (6) + 18 (do division next)

    4 + 18 (finally, addition)

    22

    24 / (8 - 2 + 6) x 3 = ? (do subtraction then addition)

    24 / 12 x 3 (do division then multiplication)

    6

    (((24 / 8) - 2) + 6) x 3 = ? (do division)

    (((3) - 2) + 6) x 3 (then subtraction)

    ((1) + 6) x 3 (then addition)

    (7) x 3 (then multiplication)

    21

Now you figure out the first two using the same method.
