April is when they start popping up. Look near old elm trees (even if there is no longer an elm, but was before....or even an old rotting stump)

Your best bet would be a wooded area, but they grow in people yards too. Remember to use a bag with holes in it so the seeds can drop!!

Have a friend that has some wooded areas, then go look there. Might want to wait till the snow melts!
