dont apply it on both lids i mean both upper and lower lid...it will make ur eye look smaller...Apply a thin line only on the upper lid or just apply kohl inside ur eyes..it really makes ur eyes look bigger..

lash line and right under your eye. if you want your eyes to really pop, then mascara will make them look better, too.

In addition to what has been said, chinky Asian eyes work well with full, dramatic eyeliner (check out Japanese magazines, for instance), provided that you go all out, not just a line, but a thick, thick layer of eyeliner.  You may choose to mix the liquid kind and blend with the pencil type to make the borders more subtle.

But for a more casual/less dramatic look, when lining on the lower lid, line only until midway of the eye, as lining the entire outline of the eye will actually make it appear smaller.

Use a liquid eyeliner to create a clear line on the upper lid ON or BELOW the lashes. For small eyes, lining above the lashes looks a little weird up close.

You apply it right at the lash line of you upper lids. You may have to stretch the skin slightly to get it right up against your eyelashes. The pencil-type eyeliner may also require that your skin be either moisturized or at least not just-washed.

If that's enough to enlarge the eyes, stop there. If you want to go further, thicken that line. Further? Line the lower lid *inside* (above) the lash line, the moist part that touches the eye. Even further? Line the lower lash line in the thinnest line you can draw.

With black, a little goes a long way. You can do more with a brown or dark grey.
