Where do I buy airline tickets

I want to get airline tickets online. I have never done this before. I plan going to visit friends in Michigan.

with any airline you take, you can buy the tickets online.

if your flight is domestic, than you can buy tickets from any of those airlines online. there are many other airlines, but those are the most popular, or heard of names.

A site that searches all of the other sites is www.sidestep.com. It will give the lowest price of around 200 search sites.

Sidestep and booking buddy are some of my favorite price comparison sites. The one I usually finalize on though is orbitz.com. They allow you to choose your outbound and inbound flights separately to let you customize your trip to your schedule. They also have a feature where you can choose different airports to leave and return to if it meets your needs. There are 4 different int`l airports near me I can choose from.

BTW Orbitz is owned by the airlines!
