don't poison the mouse or rat, use special traps that keep the mouse/rat alive, catch them and release them somewhere out in the woods. you could buy humane traps at wall mart or home depot/Lowe's, or a local hardware store..

dont kill them

rely bad luck + bad karma

just get humane traps or if their coming into unwanted places, put chilli powder down in places you know they come through, eventually they will get the idea

garden centers sell traps but shops dont normally sell poisen you might wanna call an extermanater
