Hello, I am not a dealer. I am a student looking for cheap car for myself. I was told that in order to buy repossessed car, I must have licensed dealer. Is it true? If not please suggest me some web site where I can buy those cars. I would like to bid auctions. Can I do it? I live in NJ. Thank you.

  1. check your local paper. a lot of times there is ads for police auctions.  then there is always craigslist

  2. If you really mean repossessed, check some of the banks in your area. These are cars taken back by the bank when the owner couldn't make payments. You can probably buy them for the unpaid balance, and I don't know why they would only sell to dealers.

  3. MyCarAuctionReview.com is a good site to go to for car auction locations. They have some sites that have car for as low as $500.

  4. There are car auctions all over. Check the internet for an auction near you. They have them every week.
