Where do I buy winter clothing in the middle of summer?

I've been accepted to a graduate program in Wales and it never reaches the 90s over there. I normally shop at Old Navy, but these clothes aren't sold right now in the stores or online.

Remember, I want cheap and quality.

  1. You can buy winter clothing from

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/search?ie=UTF8&...

    Good luck!

  2. You may want to try http://www.gap.com/ because they have Old Navy, Bananna Republic, Gap, and piperlime all in one site. Plus try stores like L.L. Bean or any outdoor store because this is the time of year when they sell their winter gear; will keep you warm and keep money in your pocket.

  3. Marshall's, Ross, Burlington Coat Factory ... outlet stores like these usually get the overstock out-of-season clothes from other stores.

Be sure to check the closeout sections at your local Target JCPenny or similar retailers ... JCPenny, at least around here, seems to have a lot of off-season stuff for cheap.

You could also go to "outdoor/camping/sporting goods" type stores like REI (are they national?) ... their prices may be higher, but the quality will generally be good.

On the net you could try

    Columbia Sportswear

    Orvis

    Patagonia

    ... might be pricey though.

Gap brands now owns Banana Republic ... it was much better when it was in the hands of Mel and Patricia Ziegler then the clothes were durable traveling clothes, now its just upscale fashion.
