http://www.rinconinn.com --->  (Rincon Inn Hostel) very very cheap rooms ..not in San Juan though but is a short walk from the beach .. surfers paradise, etc

http://www.dahousehotelpr.com  ---> Is right in the middle of Old San Juan access to almost everywhere out there lots of restaurants, turistic areas, clubs, pubs, etc .. very good night life.  Ohhh its pretty cheap too and the rooms are nice.. plus they have a club under the same hotel name Nuyorican Cafe ...

Hi

I'm from Puerto Rico, I will recomend to verify some hotels in Isla Verde or Condado( San Juan is a big area)  also you can check Hotels in Old san Juan but beach is not walking distance there. I heard that Howard Johnson got some good deal (Isla Verde)
