Where do I find a puppy kindergarten in the Toronto area?

Your vet can no doubt give you a list of obedience trainers. That's how I found mine.

They learn little at the classes like the ones at PetsMart from what I have been told.

Check your local phone book for the Kennel Club in your town or city.  They have obedience training, and it is done at a more suitable location than a retail environment.  I have watched the training that occurs at chain pet stores, and I think they pale in comparison.
