Where do I find conferences for Accountants & Auditors?

My employer is willing to send a few of us off to conferences that will benefit us in our jobs. One of the girls here seems to find these week-long conferences to attend and NEVER shares where she finds these conferences and always signs up for them without including the others in our office. I'm trying to find a few places that I can look for conferences for myself and the other girl here in the office so we can look into going to some as well. We are able to travel so it doesn't matter if it's out of state... Where are some good places to look for conferences? Thanks!

I would try subscribing to trade magazines for accountants. There might be some free ones out there that might not require a paid subscription. Usually that puts you on mailing lists and it won't be long before you get invites and mailings for conferences. I would also check social networking groups that are geared around accounting. Ask around ... someone might be willing to share.
