  1. You won't find that listed. All ships vary individually. Displacement and draft charts are tailored for each specific ship and frequently found on the hull as a basic marking. If you find a series of manufactured barges you might get some indication of draft empty but in general knowing the weight of a cargo vessel and hull specs will allow you to figure it out. That is providing that you are talking about a series of ships built the same. Most ships are built and fitted by contract and each has their own specs. See below link.


  2. any draft restrictions are usually determined by the load or disport.  although a ship will also have her designed load marks, but as mentioned above, this is dependant on the particular vessel.

    i have loaded a smal ship previously for cuba with just under 12,000 mt of grain and her mean draft was 7.75 meters.
