Where do I find ratings for DVD-VHS recorder combos?

Other than Consumer Reports and Amazon. I want one in the $200 range to replace a bad Samsung model DVD-VR330 piece of garbage

Your best bet are the consumer feed backs on sites that sell such items.  Of course, those models switch so fast you may not be able to find it 3 months later.
