  2. Only 7.3 percent of the area is agriculturally productive. Arable land is concentrated mostly in the Central Valley in central Chile. Agriculture in northern region is largely dependent on irrigation in areas that are, in fact, oases. Agriculture is mainly engaged in the production of cereals, fodder, sugar beets, potatoes, vegetables, and fruit.

  4. Go to the Chilean government website related to agriculture, their equivalent of the USDA.  There may be some university or college that has similar data, but it may not be accessible.
