Where do I find the scientific specs. of a plant?

I need to find the specifications of Duranta repens variegata, and all I find is pictures and not the data, can someone tell me an internet address where i can find this info? Thanks,

  2. try going to a plant shop and ask them ,or got to the nearest

    collage or university and ask a botanist

  3. The USDA plant database has all the info you need about any plant that is in the USA. You may have to leave off the varigata portion and just type in Duranta repens.  The info will be the same as varigated plants are usually a hybrid and not a natural form. Just type in the name of your plant in the upper left hand corner and select if it is the scientific name or common name.

  4. Duranta repens var.....family- verbenaceae..common name golden dew drop..sky flower...or..pigeonberry..native to florida..hardy in the south zones 9-11and of course varigated leaves.you can go to your search engine using the common names im sure to find out more about Durante
