  1. U dont get one. Sorry :(

  2. Sorry... but you are not entitled to a ring from a public school. You are worthy, but you have to be enrolled to get one. But, check with a local jeweler. I'm sure other kids wonder the same thing.

  3. Shame on you ProfessorC.  Is this the same way you inspire your students?

To the asker, you can get a ring from any jeweler.  Make it as unique as you are and wear it proudly.

  4. Look on it as an art project. Give your 'school' a name, draw a crest for your school and take it to a jeweller to see how much it would cost to execute. If you have brothers and/or sisters who are also being home schooled, you may get a better deal if you order several at the same time.

  5. Try Jostens and have them make one up for you. Your homeschool has to fall within a district and within that district, there are schools in which you have to fall under. (Like when you're done with homeschool and you have to attend a public school, it's usually one in the district where you live.) At least when you're in California, that's the way it is. Well, when you're in that district, you should be able to use a school emblem or make one up that reflects your "school". Jostens just happens to be the only one that caters to local high schools in California. I don't know about anywhere else. Or go to your local jeweler and have one made, they usually have some like that in a display case or in their catalog.

  6. you don't

  7. Almost any jewlery store sells *class* rings.

    Wal-mart also sells them.

  9. Lots of jewlers carry them.  You also might try discount stores like WalMart; I've seen them there as well.

  10. A class ring is about you and the year you graduate therefore you don't need a school for that. You need a completion date and any other information about yourself such as sports or clubs. You are entitled to one since you worked hard to earn it and you can get it at Jostens website. And here are a few other places...

    www.NexTag.com

    www.lordsfinejewelry.com

  11. You can order a class ring from any jeweler. When I was in high school, we went to a jeweler to get mine because it was considerably less expensive there and it was basically the same ring.

  12. My daughter graduates this year and we are going to get her ring from the jewelry dept. at Walmart.  They have a wide selection of quality rings for a price that is better than her school offers.  Check them out.

  13. You get a class ring to assert which class and school you graduated from- you don't have a school and won't get one.  Its just one of those things you give up to stay home and sleep in.

My students have a real teacher!

  14. You can go to any jewelry store that sells jewelry such as www.zales.com, preferably a national chain and you can get one. You can even go to the Wal-Mart jewelry department to get one, or the Jostens website. you dont have to have a school logo on it. You can put the year you graduate and maybe your name.

  15. Many jewelry stores carry class rings.

Here are some online choices of maker for you to check into, and also a couple of places to "compare" them.
