Where do I get a "Court Abstract?"?

I was told that I needed to get a court abstract. Not just any kind of abstract but to make sure that I get a court abstract. I believe he said I need to go the district court and request it. Although I dont remember if that is where im suppose to get it.

Anyway where I live there are many district courts. One in like every other town or something. Will they all be able to give me a court abstract? Or do i need to go to a certain one?

  1. A court abstract is the piece of paper they gave you when you were sentenced, the one that had all of your conditions on it, say if you were granted Probation, and the charges you were convicted of.  Whomever is asking probably wants you to get a certified copy from the Court, that's signed and stamped by the Clerk of the Court.  Go to whichever courthouse you were sentenced in, and go to the Clerk's Office.  It would help to know your case number.

  2. Never heard of a court abstract - but I have heard of a drivers abstract that is needed from by the court.

You can get the from your DMV/SOS office.

  3. From the courts.

UH your welcome but you need to contact the COURTS!  Whichever court your city is in. DUH
