Not all softwares are proved to be not harmful.In any case.......for vista themes the software modifies your shell.dll file....it is advised you take a backup copy of it.

Vista Transformation pack 8  is nice and is not harmful in any way to your PC.When it modifies your shell, it will give you a warning that windows files are being replaced and to put the windows CD.

don't worry.......ignore the warning, as it does'nt harm your computer in any way.
