Where do I go from here...?

we have some very tall trees at the back of where I live and one has fallen in next doors garden with all this wind..... and there is one overhanging in my back garden ..they come right from the main road all the way down the back of our houses....we have been in touch with the land registry ...they said nobody owns them....I have phoned the council they said they belong to the community centre on the main road....the chairman of the community centre came out to look... and said they are dangerous....he came back again a couple of days later and said they did,nt belong to them...so where do I go from here.....

  1. call city or county office,where you live


  2. If it's really dangerous,don't wait for anyone.Call the workers and clean it.(you may cost  in some extent but it is the easiest and the best way to do).

  3. ok     so    if  one  blows  down and     kills  you  or    one of the  Neighbourhs      N o  will  will take resopsablilty     for    it    Go  to citizens  advice   and  they    maybe   able  to find out  who   is  resposiably  for the trees ..Dont  wait till its   to  late ,,,   sound like someone is passing the  buck

  4. Call the local council (Environment Dept) and speak to the Tree Warden or Tree Officer.  Insist they come out and survey the trees as they are a danger to the public - they are usually very helpful.  The trees may be in a conservation area or have a tree preservation order on them - again, the Tree Officer will know.  Good luck :-)
