  1. Why not contact all Children's Hospitals nationally?

I think its pretty darn cool that you want to do this... I hope you find a pen pal.

  2. http://www.cancerwarriors.org/angelnetwo...

You can sign up here to be an "angel" to a child with cancer.

  3. Go to www.caringbridge.com . It is a wonderful site that cancer patients and their families post about their ordeal they are going thru. There are children as well as the older folks and teens. I hope this has helped.

What you could do when you go in is to type in charliemccune  and then read what people have said and you can go from there. You will see what I  mean when you get there. Charlie was a friend of one of our friends. Good Luck

  4. My suggestion is to write a few letters and send them to the American Cancer Association and address them to "children with cancer" and allow the society to check the content and ask them to forward onto a child who needs a friend by mail. It may be necessary for the parents to allow the child to write back but if the letters are encouraging and age appropriate that may not be a problem.

Possibly if you send some to St Jude's they'd do the same thing there.
