Where do I go to buy cheap leather to make a flogger?

Question

Okay so I've been wanting for a while to make a S&M flogger and surprise my boyfriend/Dom with it and I've gone online and found an awesome step by step site that shows you just how to do it but I'm not really sure where to go to buy the leather. Do you think Home Depot sells it? Or would Lowe's have it?

I live in Miami, FL. So if anyone's from around here I'd highly appreciate it.

Best and cheapest place to get leather is at a yard sale. Leather jackets were popular in the 70s but not popular anymore. I'm sure there are many people who want to get rid of it. Once you get one, cut them in strips and tie one ends to a stick. Happy SMing.

I'm pretty certain Home Depot doesn't have it, and lowes probably won't either.

Your best bet is a craft store, check your local yellow pages. Another possibility is if theres a factory outlet store for leather products. Up here there's a Danier Leather outlet where they've given me free pieces of leather for various... projects.

Also, you can go to a thrift store or secon hand clothing store and buy and old piece of leather clothing.
