  1. I work for municipal government and have never heard of this type of financial assistance.

  2. Call your local court house and maybe they could direct you to someone who knows about that. Happy hunting.

  3. If your parents are legally disabled and receiving social security disability benefits, this may be possible and you would need to talk to your local social security office.

You could also try working more and hiring someone who is an actual nurse, as most insurance companies, even medicaid and medicare will help pay most of the cost for home health services.

  4. Either the Dept of Social Services or contact the Dept of Aging in your state.  Start  with the dept of social services...they should be able to at least point you in the right direction.  But PLEASE keep in mind, that if you are asking the State or Goverment and your parents own thier home, that might be a problem...as they want you to exhaust all funds before they will help.  Also, Social Security maybe able to assist you if they are at that age.  Good Luck

  5. I don't know where you live but here in Calif. there is no assistance for you to care for your parents. Your parents would have to pay you themselves. If it were determined they needed assistance I believe they could get into an assisted care facility, there are funds available to help them do that. It is kind of expected that we will help care for our parents because that is what families do without expecting to be paid for it
