i like taking inspiration from my interests rather than going to tattoo websites, so you end up with something truly personal and unique.

for me that means going over my favorite poems and books and pieces of music and art, walking around my favorite places where i live and just getting ideas that way.

i'm not artistic at all, but i've had great experiences in being able to take a written description or even a piece of classical music to a good tattoo artist and they can interpret it into a great custom design.
