  1. Look for the Seloc manual for your motor. The authors name is Coles...get it? These manuals are the best for the casual back yard wrench with half a clue. Lots of tips and beware notes as well.  http://www.rainboat.com/index.asp?PageAc...

If you really want to do this yourself then purchase the proper service manual from a dealer,then read through the step by step instructions.Note the list of special tools that you will need to perform this repair,order the special tools or borrow them if you can.Then place your order for all the parts that you THINK that you will need,and borrow or buy the special tools needed for assembly.Fill the cars fuel tank so that you have enough to return to the dealer several times to ask questions,order more parts,return parts that you don't need etc.Spend more doing the repair your self than the aprx. two hours of labor the dealer would charge you and also give you a warranty on the repairs.

      Sometimes doing it yourself just does not pay.
