Where do I go to get a teddy embroidered/personalised?

Question

Is there a place I can go in town to get some words embroidered on a teddy? (The ears of an elephant plush to be more precise). What sort of company would do it for me? I was thinking the same sort of place that would do it to t-shirts, but I don't even know where to start looking?

I'm in Cheshire, UK if that helps.

In the US there are stalls in a few malls where they do personalize embroidery but more on T-shirt, hats, ... something flat.

I would imagine it's kinda hard to do it directly on the teddy bear. Maybe you can make a shirt/t-shirt for it (teddy bear shirts/cloth don't have to be as well done as human cloth cuz it doesn't move. Embroid it yourself to personalize it with simple stiches ... or use other materials to personallize it, ie: gem stone, beads, well, check out craft stores and you can get more ideas.

hope this helps! but they are quite expensive!
